Zinoleesky Vows To Fully Cooperate With NDLEA During Investigation
Following his arrest by agents of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, fast-rising musician Oniyide Azeez, better known by his stage name Zinoleesky, has pledged to work with them in the future.
According to the musician, who posted a video on his Instagram account on Monday, the NDLEA reacted to a distress call, which resulted in the arrest.
Zinoleesky and another musician, Mohbad, were apprehended by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) last Wednesday during a midnight operation in Idado Estate, Lagos state.
The Drug Enforcement Administration had previously said that cannabis and molly had been seized during the operation.
Zinoleesky expressed his gratitude to his fans and family for their support throughout the difficult time after the tragedy, which was his first public statement since the occurrence.
He said, “There was a distress call to which the NDLEA responded. Unfortunately, the issue escalated. But from now on, I and my team will be fully cooperative with the NDLEA so they can finish their investigations. Say no to drugs.”
Recently, the agency detained fast-rising skit creator De General after conducting a raid at his apartment in Lagos, which took place a few weeks ago.
De General was arrested and sent to court, where he was found guilty of trafficking in tramadol and Cannabis sativa, among other things.
The skit creator, on the other hand, was pardoned by the court on the grounds that the amount of narcotics discovered on him was insufficient to warrant a prison term.
