Office of the President of Nigeria has explained reason why the president of Nigeria, General Muhammadu Buhari returned from Kenya to Nigeria on Friday (March 5, 2022).
Nigeria citizens had expected Mr President to go directly to his Medical check up in United Kingdom as announced by Femi Adesina, the president media aide.
Femi Adesina, while addressing the public about the president trip to Kenya, stated the president will proceed to United Kingdom where he would spent 14-day for his medical check up after Nairobi (UNEP) event in Kenya
But on Friday (March 4, 2022). Buhari returned to Nigeria.
Garba Shehu, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity announced that President would still jet out for his Medical trip as stated before.
Garba explained, President Buhari was earlier expected to end his itinerary on Saturday (March 5, 2022) before proceeding to Nigeria, from where he would embark on the United Kingdom Medical trip on Sunday (Today).
Nothing has shifted about his (Buhari) scheduled trip to UK. it is still as earlier planned. President Buhari will leave for UK on Sunday (March 5, 2022). There’s no need for any tension.
