Crystal Palace Prevented Manchester City from Winning their Match

Bernado Silva, the Manchester City defender has argued that his side are still not Liverpool’s target despite their goalless draw with Crystal Palace in the Premier League yesterday

In an interview with Sky Sports, Silva said: “They should have won the game but there were mistakes, but he is not afraid Liverpool will be able to compete in the Premier League.

Silva says he is confident his side’s six-point lead over Liverpool will be reduced to six points before the end of the season, as he says they will not play against the Reds in April.

Four points adrift of Premier League leaders Liverpool, who have one game in hand, and if Jurgen Klopp’s side can beat Arsenal on Wednesday, the gap between the two main rivals will be reduced to one point.

Eight weeks ago City were 13 points adrift of third-placed Liverpool with two games in hand, but now they are back on four points, with Pep Guardiola’s side set to face Tottenham Hotspur. Manchester United and Everton are behind Crystal Palace in their next fixtures, which means there are big challenges ahead.
