Nigeria President To Commission New Lagos Airport Terminal Tuesday

The Nigeria President, General Muhammadu Buhari will on Tuesday (March 22), commission the recently built terminal at the Murtala Muhammed Airport, Lagos.

The Lagos State terminal is one of the 5 built in a bilateral agreement between Republic of China and Federal Government. The terminals are in Abuja, Port Harcourt, Lagos, Enugu and Kano

In a circular released by the FAAN acting general manager, Corporate Affairs, Faithful Hope-Ivbaze, says the international terminal will produce about 3,000 direct and indirect job for Nigerians, as well as enhance passenger facilitation and satisfaction at the Lagos airport.

According to general manager, the terminals in Port Harcourt and Abuja have been accomplished and commissioned while, Kano state terminal will be accomplished and commissioned immediately.

Airport Authority spokesperson further acknowledged that the new terminal, built on 56,000 quad metres, has 66 check-in counters will also enable 14 million passengers per annum
