President Buhari Condemns Violence In The South-East, Consoles Ohanaeze President

The Nigeria President, General Muhammadu Buhari on Sunday (March 20) has strongly denounced damage of stations and properties of Imo State Police command as well as the house of Ohanaeze Ndi Igbo, General President, Professor George Obiozor, whom the pressdent Buhari portrays as a distinguished voice of restraint in the country affairs

A circular signed by President special assistant, Garba Shehu, President Buhari strongly condemned the unrest in the sub-region and advised everyone to maintain order.

Mr President assured Nigerians that the crisis in the whole South-East is being investigated.

President also called on the good people of Imo State in specific and the south-east in general to maintain peace as the police force and other security agencies are working to ensure that normality is reclaimed at the quickest.

Buhari extended his tenderness to the Nigeria police officials over the loss of men and equipments and to Professor of Ohanaeze, Obiozor, who he encouraged to strengthen his dedication to the peace and unity of the country against these odds.
