Van Nistelrooy will begin His Coaching Career next Season

Former Manchester United and Netherlands striker Ruud van Nistelrooy will take over as manager of PSV Eindhoven in the Netherlands from next season.

In a statement issued on Wednesday, PSV said it would say goodbye to current manager Roger Schmidt at the end of the season.

Van Nistelrooy, who played for PSV between 1998 and 2001, has signed a contract to coach the club until 2025.

Van Nistelrooy, who retired from playing in 2012, has scored 35 goals in 70 appearances for the Netherlands.
