The Rulling party of Nigeria, APC-All Progressives Congress through its National Working Committee has called the meeting of the party National Executive Meeting after the party National Convention which will hold on Wednesday (April 20, 2022).
In a letter by Barrister Felix Morka, the party national publicity secretary on Friday, announced the emergency National Executive Committee meeting which commence at 10am on Wednesday at Abuja Congress-Hall of Transcorp Hilton-Hotel in FCT.
He expanded that the objective of the meeting was for the greatest decision making arm of the party (APC) to contemplate on the party Timetable/Schedule of programmes for primaries for the selection of candidates for the forthcoming 2023 general elections and other related issues happening.
Pursuant to Article 25.2.(ii) of the party (APC) Constitution, the (NWC) National Working Committee hereby invites all the members of APC National Executive Committee to a meeting to contemplate the APC’s Timetable/Schedule of Activities for Primaries for the selection of candidates for the upcoming General Elections and other applicable business of the Party APC.
“All members of the National Executive Council are by this request to take note of the meeting in accord with (Article 12.3) of the All Progressive Congress Constitution, please,” the accepted invitation for the APC NEC meeting declared
