Insecurity: Buhari Meets Security Chiefs, Ministers In Abuja

President General Muhammadu Buhari (Retd) on Thursday met with heads of security institutions and some Federal Ministers at the Statehouse, Aso Rock in Abuja.

The meeting appears after directions by the National Council of State (NCS) over the security conditions in the country.

Meeting attendance were the Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, Boss Mustapha, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Gen. Babagana Monguno, the National Security Adviser (NSA) and Ibrahim Gambari, the Chief of Staff to the President

Ministers physically in attendance include Rauf Aregbesola of Interior and Bashir Magashi of Defense

Service Chiefs in attendance were, General Farouk Yahaya, the Chief of Army Staff, Air Marshal Isiaka Oladayo Amao, the Chief of Air Staff, and Vice Admiral Awwal Gambo, the Chief of Naval Staff

General Lucky Irabor, the Chief of Defense Staff was represented.

Also at the meeting were the Alkali Baba Usman, the Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Ahmed Rufai Abubakar, the National Intelligence Agency Director-General and Yusuf Bichi, Department of State Service Director-General
