STRIKE: Suspension Of Strike ‘Depends On Varsity Lecturers’ – Chris Ngige

STRIKE: Chris Ngige, the Minister of Labour and Employment acknowledges that the suspension of the industrial action embarked on by Nigerian Varsity lecturers, ASUU is dependent on the union.

Minister made the announcement when answering questions on Channels Television program, Politics Today on Thursday, yelling for the Nigeran University teachers to be considerate.

“It depends on Academics. The ball is in their court. They should go and confront the Benimi-Briggs Committee and look at what the body is doing and make additional inputs so that the struggle can be stimulated,” he said during the state of the nation show.
