2023 Election: Osinbajo Visits Olubadan Over Ambition

Yemi Osinbajo, the Nigeria Vice President has earlier on Friday visited the new Olubadan of Ibadan, Oba Lekan Balogun in his palace to formally inform him of his ambition to contest for President in 2023.

The Oba, extended his blessings to the VP saying: “I conclude my contributions to you by presenting you over to Almighty Allah, let him safeguard you”.

Osinbajo also greeted the members of Oyo State APC-All Progressives Congress delegates.

While at the meeting, Osinbajo said he was optimistic that the past seven-year as Vice President have educated him for a greater objective.

Submitting his political credentials before the members of delegate, he said he has spent the seven years in practice and preparation.

The Vice President, therefore, believes that he has had adequate experience to qualify of contesting if elected as the incoming president of Nigeria to take over from President Buhari.

The VP, who officially announced his ambition to contest for the post of President in 2023 forthcoming general elections.
