Former Kenyan President Mwai Kibaki has died at the age of 90 after a third term in office

Following the news of the death of former President Uhuru Kenyatta, incumbent President Uhuru Kenyatta expressed his grief and described the deceased as a man of vision who knew what to do in the public sphere.

Mwai Kibaki , a former professor of economics, received the training in Uganda before arriving in Ladan in the United Kingdom to pursue a career in economics.

He has been a key figure in Kenya’s political process since independence in 1963.

He won the presidency of Kenya in 2002 with a pledge to fight corruption, after President Daniel Arap Moi ruled Kenya for 20 years.

Former Kenyan President Kikuyu is one of the people who helped President Uhuru Kenyatta shape his political agenda by 2030 in Kenya.
