Ex-Minister, Graham-Douglas is dead

The Nigerian Ex-minister of youth, sports and culture during Ibahim Babangida regime, Alabo Graham-Douglas, is dead at 82 years.

He died in an hospital in Abuja after a brief sickness on Monday.

In 1986, became Rivers state Commissioner for Youths, Sports and Culture and in 1989 ordained as became Commissioner for Youths, Sports and Culture, thereafter ordained as Minister of Aviation in General during Babangida regime

He also became Southern minorities movement chairman in 1992, one of the party that emerged into main opposition party in Nigeria, PDP.

Graham-Douglas contested during PDP primaries for the post of President which he lost to Former President Olusegun Obasanjo, who became President in 1999.
