I will Allow God to Choose Successor, Okowa tells Deltans

Ifeanyi Okowa, the Delta State Governor said he will allow God to choose his successor on the good people of Delta.

Okowa made this on Sunday during Chief Oritsetimeyin Adams 70th birthday and thanksgiving service at St. Luke’s Anglican Church in Sapele, saying the selection of a successor is not by desire of man but by the will of God.

Okowa applauded the church and other executives for the supports and paryers, and advised them to plead that God should provide the state a good successor to him, assuring that he was devoted to permitting God’s will continue on the choice of who would accomplish him in the forthcoming election.

Okowa complimented the celebrant for fulfilling the Biblical 70 and advised him to rededicate his life to God and society

Chief Adams explained he was not thanking Almighty God because he was three scores and 10 but because of His blessings upon his life and household.
