Liverpool adds to Everton’s woes in the Premier League

Liverpool are one point adrift of Premier League leaders Manchester City, leaving Everton in third place at the bottom of the table after a win over them on Sunday.

The Everton players struggled to keep Liverpool at bay, but their efforts failed to materialize due to the involvement of Jurgen Klopp’s men.

After 62 minutes, Liverpool broke the deadlock, with Andy Robertson scoring Mohamed Salah’s shot.

Everton failed to find the back of the net until late Divock Origi added another.

That defeat means Everton remain at the bottom of the Premier League table for the first time since December 6, 2019. and their share of the long-term title since the 1998/99 season.
