Rivers State: Cole abides the rules of the game to become APC consensus Gubar candidate – Princewill

The leadership and frontline politician in Rivers state under the ruling party, APC Prince Tonye Princewill has explained reason he endorsed Tonye Cole as a consensus candidate for the party in Governorship election.

According to him, Cole abides the rules of the game in the state.

Recall that about 10 aspirants have expressed their interest to contest for governorship in the state and pledged to support whoever emerges as the APC governorship candidate either through primaries or consensus.

He said, in a statement handed out in Port Harcourt, the capital of the state, said in the coming days, he will launch his committee to Cole, contemplating the fact that both of them were devoted to hoisting the people up.

He said, “I want to guide the party (APC) into war with PDP in 2023 election, so to say I’m delighted today, would not be an exact contemplation of how I feel. The opinion is still new and feelings are still natural
