The Central African Republic has approved the use of Bitcoin as a legal currency.
This announcement was made the office of President on Wednesday.
Legislators unanimously obtained a bill that made bitcoin formal tender alongside the Central African franc and authorised the use of cryptocurrencies, and President Faustin Archange Touadera approved the regulation into law, Obed Namsio, the chief of staff stated in a statement.
The Central African is the first nation in Africa to approve bitcoin as legal currency, Chief of staff noted.

In September 7th, El Salvador became the world’s first bitcoin adopter.
