Nigerian Police promotes 1,313 officers

The Nigerian police authorities of Imo, Abia and Ebonyi states promoted no fewer than 1,313 personnel to different levels of the police service ranks.

The list of the promotion reveals that 352 were promoted in Ebonyi state, 380 in Abia, 586 in Imo state while headquarters of Zone 9 in Umuahia earned 25

Kayode Adetunmbi, the Acting Assistant AIG and DCP, DC of the operation in Umuahia on Wednesday decorated the newly-promoted officers, urged them to double their loyalty and commitment to their responsibility

Adetunmbi charged them to brace-up with the needs of their new grades and to help the police gain the victory of the ongoing battle against insecurity

He commended the IGP, Alkali Baba for stepping up to encourage the affected personnel with new ranks.

He also urged them to honor their superiors and move away from any action that can damage the country.

George Okafor, the zonal spokesperson advised the personnel to return the actions of the Inspector General with hard task and devotion to duty
