Sallah: Tight Security as NSCDC deploys 20,000 Officers



As Sallah celebration moving closer and commitment to secure live and property, the NSCDC has deployed over 20,000 officers to tight security across the country.

NSCDC boss authorized all state and zonal commandants to beef up security in Nigeria as he promised tight security before, during and after the sallah festival.

In a statement released by DCC Olusola Odumosu, the Agency spokesman authorized the deployment, authorizing the officials of the Corps to remain courageous and tactically ready to neutralise the actions of criminals during the joyous session and beyond.

The time to be more observant and more security aware is now, contemplating the existing security crisis in thee country which calls for more concerted actions and reasonable preparation against immediate attacks on faithful citizens and country Assets and Infrastructure by felons,” he noted.

He particularly charged them to defend the country against criminals, bandits and other scandalous Individuals who take benefit of festive periods to discharge panic in order to make the nation unlivable and the political area intractable.

Dr Audi, the commander general, repeated that the Corps was going to join operation with other security mechanisms in the country to ensure tighten free worker’s day and sallah celebration by announcing total battle on all illegal components disposition on evading the peace and security of the country.

He announced that he has authorized the deployment of 20,000 staff nation-wide to every corner and cavity of the nation to strengthen security and find out fugitives from their hideouts.

He said the secretive strategies of the Corps have led to some criminal hideaways and black areas in some places in the country and to this end, a marching order has been put on to all lzsoal and state commanders to put to productive use all officers during this session to lessen their excesses.
