We fix N100m for form because we don’t want to beg for Money, says APC Chairman
The ruling party, All Progressive Congress National Chairman, Abdullahi Adamu has explained the allegation about the amount placed on party nomination form.
He made this know to journalists on Friday at the state house in Abuja.
The party National Chairman said they have heard the critics about the party decision on the nomination form, so we don’t want to solicit for during election next year, he stated.
We did some assignment; we know what it requires to organise primaries, go through presidential campaign, even that presidential election, we know what it requires.
“We also do know that there are Nigerian citizens who are qualified to run election, but who are not serious candidates, who will just like to take anything inexpensive by the roadside. Even the wickedness of work that has to be achieved – and this work will be done with money.
“And we don’t wish to continue to beg, especially in an 2023 election. So we prefer to see that we are competent to mobilise adequate funds to support our efforts to win the general election
