Real Madrid reach Champions League final

Rodrygo Silva de Goes and Karim Benzema scored the goals that gave Real Madrid a 3-1 victory over Manchester City in their second match of the Champions League on Wednesday night.

City initially looked set to reach the final against Liverpool, after Riyad Mahrez’s goal gave Madrid a 5-3 lead.

With five minutes left in the match, Real Madrid striker Rodrygo scored twice in the 90th and 91st minutes, forcing a 30-minute extra time, with Benzema scoring his third goal for City in a penalty shoot-out. Goalkeeper, who is 15th in the Champions League this season.

Real Madrid have 6 goals and 5 goals against Manchester City.

The final between the La Liga champions and Liverpool will take place in Paris on May 28.
