KADUNA: Armed Bandits who abducted train passengers on their route to Kaduna-Abuja to unspecified location have released a pregnant woman among the abducted passengers.

In a video acquired by a local newspaper, the woman, whose name has not been disclosed, called on the Nigerian government to compromise with the terrorists to save the lives of those still in their custody.

She said her captives had given her proper care, feeding and maintaining her health.

The Daily Nigerian newspaper quoted a source as saying that no ransom had been paid for the pregnant woman.

The source also dismissed reports that a woman had given birth at the terrorist camp.

The Federal Government of Nigeria has promised to rescue 60 passengers in the hands of the terrorists, who were captured on March 28, but there is still no word on the matter.
