Mechanic says “he started robbery when I find it hard to survive” in Ondo

Akure based Mechanic identified as Mohammed Sule, apprehended by Police for robbery in Akure community has admitted that he rob to survive.

The 23-year-old explained that he plan to use the money seen from robbery to start a business.

He was nabbed at Shasha in Akure for robbing some homes in the area.

He stated that he used to storm the house of his victims with ordinary cutlass and fake pistol.

Sule, who hailed from Kogi state, came to Akure to visit her blood sister in which he could not find her.

He explained that, he used to sleep in Mosque before he was pursue and later sleeping under bridge and later joined robbery gang.

He was nabbed with 4 in two different area in Akure.

The 3 others are, Friday Emmanuel, Victor Bright and AbdulRahim Mohammed in which they claimed it was their first operation.

Bright, 21-year-old, who claimed to be their leader explains that they used to snatch motorcycle and sold for 130,000 naira.

Funmi Odunlami, the state police command spokeswoman stated that they will be arraigned to court after rigorous investigation
