Presidency: Tinubu won’t step down for anyone as Shettima rejects Lawan, Osinbajo, Others

KASHIM SHETTIMA, the Ex-Borno gov and Leader of Tinubu Campaign Organisation has explained that Tinubu will not step down for anyone to become party presidential candidate, rejected Osinbajo, Fayemi and other aspirants.

The Ex-gov declared this on a TV program in Abuja.

The Ex-Lagos Gov and other 22 aspirants from ruling Party were cleared by the party committee ahead of party primaries commencing on Monday [June 6].

The TCO director stated that if the president want to select a consensus candidate, it must be Asiwaju Tinubu.

He described Tinubu as “Elephant” while depicted others as “lilliputian”

He explained the Ex-Lagos State gov will contest against President’s choice in convention holding on Monday 6 to Wednesday 8.

VP is a good man. He is a nice man. But nice men don’t make a good leader. Nice men should be “selling popcorn” and “ice cream”.

Shettima also extended concerns on the managerial ability of Lawan and his national reach.

He added that both Lawan and Osinbajo can not defeat opposition party candidate, Atiku Abubakar.
