Owo Massacre: Tinubu, Obi, Atiku call for Arrest of Church Attackers

Owo Massacre: The presidential aspirants of the ruling All Progressive Congress, Bola Tinubu, Labour Party candidate, Peter Obi and Candidate from major opposition party in Nigeria PDP, Atiku Abubakar have called for the arrest of all the attackers of the Ondo Church massacre and also called on security agencies to get to the bottom of the incident.

In a separate statements released on Sunday [June 5] some hours after the attack which 20 individuals were killed and several other injured.

Atiku on Twitter also sent his condolences to the victims families, the state government, the Catholic church in Nigeria and and people of Owo over the attack.

Similarly, Ex-Lagos gov Asiwaju depicted the attack as “reprehensible” according to a circular published by his media office.

He also expanded his condolences to the families of the affected people and the govt of Ondo State

For Peter Obi, the event is a pointer that citizens must work together to protect the country.

He sympathises with the church, families and the state govt.
