110 Days Strike: Lecturers raise hope of calling off strike



Public varsity teachers has raised hope of calling off strike explained that the union might shift ground on its action.

Prof.Emmanuel Osodeke, the ASUU chairman gave this hope during a phone conversation with AIT that it will brief media this week

The lecturers, he, and parent feel the suffering of public varsity students that want to see them back to campus as soon as possible

The Chairman they accused FGN of dragging the union’s demands particularly the payment mode [UTAS] which is reported to have passed 90 per cent test.

The Prof. Nimi Briggs led 2009 Federal Gov renegotiation committee has been fruitful.

NANS has been protesting over the strike and also pledged to disrupt political activities if varsities are not reopened.
