NASC-National Assembly Service Commission and PASAN-Parliamentary Staff Association of Nigeria embark on indefinite strike as activities of National Assembly knocked down on Monday [June 6].
The action is to request the execution of MoU-memorandom of understanding for payment of arrears and other conditions of service jointly approved by NASC and PASAN on 12 of April 2021.
The workers mounted surveillance on Monday at the gate of Red House complex preventing Legislators and others from gaining access to Red Chamber.
The workers claimed that the action will continue till the National Assembly Management honour the items in the MoU and other demands of the two unions.
They also instructed all their members to stay at home from Tuesday, June 7.
