CMD Trains 41 on Basic Management Trainers Development Workshop, MANDEV.

The Director General, Center for Management Development, CMD, Bitrus Danharbi Chinoko said the centre was determined to promote it’s staff development locally and internationally so as to deliver on the mandate of the agency.

He made this observation on Friday during the completion of the two weeks training for 41 trainers of the Basic Management Trainers Development Workshop (BASIC MANDEV) held at the Nigeria Capital Market Institute NCMI in Abuja.

He assured that the centre had gotten enormous power constitutionally to regulate the activities of trainings and workshops been organised by the both the public and private organisations in the country.

He appealed to the political class to exhaust the opportunity provided by the CMD to ensure the rules guiding the execution of constituency projects across the country is maintained particularly as it affects training.

“The Bureau of Public Procurement BPP had recommended the CMD as the sole trainer of trainers recognised by the constitution of the country.” He said

The Director General advised Nigerians to explore other avenues to participate in other programs been carried out by the centre, saying the BASIC MANDEV program was just the starting point.

He also promised to continue to partner with the participants through its wide range of facilities located across the country, to advance and regulate the activities of trainings across Nigeria.

The Director General was represented by the officials of the centre, Mr Uche Uwali, Deputy Director, (Legal), and Mr Francis Binuyo , Head of Accreditation of the centre.

Highlights of the program was the presentation of certificates to the 41 participants of the two weeks programs by the coordinators.
