Guber race: Celebration in Kogi community as Muri Ajaka joins SDP to contest Governorship
The good people of Kogi State have rejoiced with the candidature of Alhaji Murtala Yakubu (Muri Ajaka) and his Running Mate Abenenemi Sam Ranti.
According to Ajaka he joined the guber race to rescue the State from maladministration and administrative failure.
Addressing the press, the leadership of the Social Democratic Party ( SDP ) has forwarded the names of the Governorship candidate and his running mate the to Independent National Electoral Commission ( INEC) after the successful revalidation and replacement of the former.
It could be recalled that there was anxiety over when Muri and his running mate will be on the ballot.
Confluence news gathered that all is set and concluded as INEC has received communication from the party for possible publication on their website no later than 26th of May, 2023.
One of the stakeholders who spoke under condition of anonymity said Muri has come and it’s a movement for the liberation of Kogi state.
