The commissioner for Public Complaints Commission (PCC) representing the FCT, Mr Ezekiel Dalhatu Musa, has urged President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to prioritize appointment of natives of the FCT into cabinet.

He said since the Court of Appeal judgement of January, 2018, ruled that president of the federal republic of Nigeria should appoint a native of FCT, the natives have consistently advocated and appeal to conscience of any incoming president to appoint natives into their cabinet.
He noted that despite the natives were no longer engaged in a debate over wether the FCT is a state, tdg the Supreme court has also through a land mark judgement has unequivocally settled the contentious issue surrounding section 299 of the 1999 constitution as amended.
According to him, the natives ‘renewed hope’ lies in the that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will recognize the abundance of highly qualified FCT natives into his cabinet.
“And even in line with the body language of our president Ahmed Bola Tinubu, since his assumption in office, has inspire confidence in Nigerian populace through his commitment to dispensing justice and leading our nation in a new direction,” he said.
