Shafan Kwatto Traditional Ruler visits Ohimegye Opanda, celebrates Abdullahi Balarabe as 7th Speaker NSHA

…..Thanks Gov. Sule, Speaker Balarabe for appointment of Hon Shafa as Secretary, TSC.

The traditional ruler of Shafan Kwatto Chiefdom in Toto LGA of Nasarawa State, the Ogwu of Shafan Kwatto, HRH. Alhaji Yunusa Muhammad Idris has thrown his worth behind the emergence of Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi as Speaker of the 7th Assembly.

He said the entire people of Shafan Kwatto rejoiced and congratulated Rt. Hon Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi over his emergence as Speaker of the 7th Nasarawa State House of Assembly.

The Ogwu who made this known when he led his Council members to Ohimegye Opanda HRH Alhaji Usman Abdullahi at his Palace in Umaisha appreciated Ohimegye for his support and role towards the emergence of the Speaker for third term.

The Ogwu of Shafan Kwatto said that the visit was to thank the Ohimegye for his endless blessings and support towards the emergence of Rt. Hon Balarabe’s third term, as well appreciate him for the good works he is doing to add value to the entire Egbira nation.

The traditional ruler also appreciated Ohimegye for his selfless and inclusive leadership style

” We are here to thank you for your endless support in ensuring the success of Rt. Hon Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi as Speaker of the 7th Assembly and for third term in the state.

” We are also here to appreciate you for your tireless efforts towards ensuring peaceful coexistence in Toto Local Government Area, ” he said.

The Ogwu also thanked Ohimegye’s support in areas of peace, security and development in Toto Local Government Area.

He assured him of their total loyalty and support.

He also appreciated Governor Abdullahi Sule and the Speaker for ensuring the appointment of their son, Hon Usman Labaran Shafa as Secretary, Teachers Service Commission ( TSC).

” Your highness, we want to appreciate Rt. Hon Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi for his support to Shafan Kwatto at all times.

” He has done it again for Shaffa Kwatto community through ensuring the recent appointment of our former lawmaker, Hon Usman Labaran Shafa as Secretary, Nasarawa State Teachers Service Commission (TSC) .

The Ogwu of Shafan Kwatto equally commended Speaker Balarabe for attracting meaningful development to the entire Toto Local Government Area.

He described Speaker Balarabe as an architect of peace in which Toto is enjoying today.

” As our people can now go to their beds with their two eyes closed,” he said

He congratulated Balarabe on his emergence as Speaker while praying God to protect and guide him at all times.

He urged the Speaker to continue to operate an open door policy, carry everyone along just as he prayed and wished the Speaker well.

The Ogwu, however, urged the Speaker to forgive and forget all those he perceived as his political enemies.

Responding, the Ohimegye Opanda, HRH. Alhaji Usman Abdullahi appreciate the Ogwu and his people for the visit.

He also prayed God for sustainable peace and unity among other communities in the area .

The Ohimegye urged Ogwu to unite his subjects, adding that it is only in unity and peace that development will thrive.

The first class traditional ruler further urged his subjects and other people of the state to support government policies and programmes to succeed.
