KOBA President General calls for closer ranks among members for educational advancement, upliftment of GCK.

President General, Keffi Old Boys Association ( KOBA), Engr Edward Ujege, has appealed for closer relationship among KOBA members for the development of Government College Keffi and educational enhancement.

Ujege made the appeal when he paid a get well soon visit to a one time KOBA Secretary General, Alhaji S. M.
Zakari in Kano, yesterday.

The President General, who was represented by the Secretary General , Mr Sam Israel described Alhaji Zakari as one of the members that devoted his time and resources for the growth of the association.

He said that the visit was to greet the one time Secretary General, pray and to wish him well.

” I want to use this medium to appeal to our members for closer relationship for the development of the school, education sector and humanity in general.

” There is the need for us to keep in touch with each other even after many years of leaving the College.

” as the importance of unity and closer relationship could not be overemphasized,” Ujege said.

He said it was time for members to keep in touch with each other, know their well being, discuss as well as get assistance from each other.

The President General assured of his readiness to continue to operate an open door policy and initiate good policies and programmes that would have direct bearing on the lives of staff and students of the College.

Responding, Alhaji Zakari, the One time KOBA Secretary General appreciated KOBA President General for the visit and prayed God to bless him abundantly.

He said that the visit has reawakened him socially, morally and otherwise.

Zakari commended Ujege for his purposeful leadership and called for its sustenance.

It would be reported that on hand to receive the visitors in Kana were Alhaji Zakari’s wife and children.
