Automation; CAC Halts Analogue Transactions From August 7.

The Corporate Affairs Commission, CAC, has announced that the commission will not accept winding up and dissolution of companies, Appointments of receivers and discharged of receivers and Companies’ Voluntary Arrangements(CVA), Administration and netting , except through the Company Registration Portal (CRP) .
According to the statement released by the management of the commission released by the Head , Media , Rasheed Mahe stated that henceforth the commission will not accept manual or email submission in respect of the above, fully deployed and active on the CRP with effect from 7th, August, 2023.
Mahe advised clients to comply with the new directives in line with the new order, to ensure one stop shop online transactions of it’s activities in the commission.
The decision of the commission was also in accordance with the Company and Allied Matters Act CAMA, 2020.
