DG NPC Mourns former Kwara Military Governor, Salawudeen Latinwo

The Director General, National Productivity Centre NPC, Dr Nasir Olaitan Raji-Mustapha has sent a message of condolence to the people of Offa, kwara state and Nigeria at large, over the death of former Military Administrator of Kwara State, Group Capt Salawudeen Latinwo.
A statement released on Sunday, Raji expressed shock on the death of the former governor, stating that the area and the state has lost a fine officer and gentleman, who had served the state and Nigeria with all his ability.
Dr Raji used the opportunity to condole the Olofa of Offa and the entire domain, saying the loss will be irreparable and irreplaceable in the annals of the history of the area.
He wished the family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss, while urging them to pray for the repose of his soul.
Global Times Nigeria reports that the former military administrator of kwara state, Group Captain Salaudeen Latinwo passed on at early hours of Saturday in the United Kingdom (UK) after battling a protracted illness.
Latinwo died at the age 80 years and was a retired Group Captain in the Nigerian Air force.
The late administrator served as military governor of Kwara state from January 1984 to August 1985 under the military government of Gen. Muhammadu Buhari.
