Hon. Jallo: A consolidator of modern Igabi federal constituency
People’s representatives must have experience, vision, and ideas of where they are going and what they are trying to accomplish. They need to have prerequisites in strategic planning and implementation of their vision and mission in their representation.
Other excellent characteristics of public servants are courage, integrity, focus, perseverance, and humility. Indeed Hon Hussaini Muhammad Jalo has all these characteristics as a public servant; this would make it possible for him to implement many laudable projects and programs for well well-being of the people he represents in the Nation’s Green Chamber.
Before the people of Igabi Federal constituency in the last general election voted out their former member representing them in the House of Representatives, the constituency had been neglected in terms of true representation with no visible constituency Projects executed by those representing them since the returns of democracy. Hon Hon Hussaini Muhammad Jallo displayed an unflinching commitment to changing the old narrations of the constituency’s poor representation to better.
Hon Hussaini Mohammad Jallo is one of the privileged Nigerians who served at various levels of government from local government through the state to the federal.
Former Commissioner Kaduna State Ministry Of Environment, Ministry Of Lands And Survey. Former Executive Secretary Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF) Abuja. Former Board Member Nigerian Export Processing Authority. A special adviser in the state, as well as a special adviser (political) to Vice President Namadi Sambo. At party level activities was a former PDP State Legal Adviser and Deputy Chairman of the party.
With his vast experience in governance found it easy and swayed into action to provide the people of the constituent an inclusive representation when the 10th National Assembly was inaugurated.
Having served the people of Igabi local government three times as the council chairman under Zero Party. Two times when democracy returned in 1999. Satisfied with his selfless service to them his people elected him again as council Chairman under the PDP from 1999-2003.
He was also appointed as the council’s Sole Administrator in 2003. They believed that Hon Hussaini would pursue his mission of turning things around and making the constituency a modern one.
Indeed with great anticipation, the people of the Igabi had known that he would prove to be a consolidator of the modern Igabi constituency. Electorates in the area knew that those before him in the House of Representatives from Igabi had deserted the electorates.
As far as politics is concerned there are great, dogged, and diehard politicians who emanated from the grassroots and rose through the ranks to where they are today. Hussain Muhammad Jallo is one among many, today grassroots politics has become a major yardstick for measuring the success of otherwise elected political officeholders.
he redefines any office he occupies and makes a mark. He is a humanist, a visionary and egalitarian personality, a pragmatist, and an exemplary and respected leader He has not only revolutionized Igabi but turned around the fortunes of the constituent.
He has demonstrated his true passion for issues concerning his people, state, and the nation as a whole; he worked passionately to address matters of great concern to his people and quickly earned a reputation as a true people’s servant, hard-working and brilliant public officeholder.
Accordingly, politics, character, and vision have been informed and guided by like late Aminu Kano’s philosophy of emancipation and improving the lives of the masses.
His many measures as a public servant make him not business as usual chairman as he had shaken the table by introducing various reforms that will reposition the Igabi local government area which will be for the greater good of the people of the area.
One thing commonly associated with this man is his philosophy based on equality, namely that all people are equal and deserve equal treatment in all things.
For Hussain Muhammad Jallo prevailing interest of the masses should not be sacrificed either on the altar of political expediency or in a narrow selfish agenda of those who operate the levers of power.
