Kogi Election: Kogi KIPL Boss, Aisha Sulaiman lunches Empowerment scheme for women, youths, vulnerable in Adavi LG

A grassroots woman mobilizer and the Managing Director, Kogi Investment and Property Limited (KIPL), Hajiya Aisha Ibrahim Adoke Ajanah has an empowerment scheme for women, youths and vulnerable people in Adavi local government area of Kogi State.

The cash empowerment programme was launched on Sunday, while women, youths and vulnerable in the area received different categories of items ranging from food, cash and customized campaign materials specially designed for Ododo/Joel 2023.
The KIPL boss said their unwavering support and commitment to governing APC led administration under the leadership of Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello informed her decision to complement the effort of Kogi State Government.
Reports says 300 women youths and vulnerable people across the electoral wards of Adavi LGC benefitted from Hajiya Aisha’s cash empowerment programme.
The items distributed by the KIPL boss, include, dozens of wrappers, different variety of food items and 1million Naira cash to the beneficiaries.
She expressed satisfaction with the sight of the overwhelming supporters who trooped out in their large numbers to welcome her.
Hajiya Aisha pointed out that the program was part of her efforts to complement the efforts of His Excellency, Alh. Yahaya Adoza Bello, the Executive Governor to alleviate the hardship being witnessed generally.
“This empowerment program is specifically designed to support the vulnerable; the women, youths and the elderly in Adavi LG,” she said.
APC elder statesman, Adayi Yakubu Osondo admonished the elderly to continue to pray God’s blessings for their daughter, Hajiya Aisha Suleiman, Kogi State, Nigeria and those in leadership positions, adding that they needs people’s prayers to overcome the multitude of challenges confronting the nation.
Adayi Osondo further charges the people of Adavi LG to come together and support the APC Governorship candidate, Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo; saying that, the present administration under His Excellency, Alh. Yahaya Adoza Bello and the APC led administration has done a lot in Adavi.
The former chairman of Adavi LG, Hon. Ozigi Asema Mayaki, who was at the event, described the empowerment program as a commendable feat, therefore, charges other Adavi LG political appointees to emulate this woman of substance
“Please let’s demonstrate our love of Hajiya Aisha Suleiman for Alh. Usman Ahmed Ododo by translating it to vote in the November 11, 2023 election for the continuity of good Governance and progress of the state.
“I call on all the eligible voters in Adavi LG to come out en-mass and cast your their votes for the APC Governorship candidate, Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo, come November 11, 2023.”
Engr. Ahmed Muhammed, who appeared as a special guest of honour, extolled the leadership quality of Hajiya Aisha Suleiman and asked for more support for her.

He assured the citizens of the state to expect more progress and development when APC emerged the winner of the November 11, 2023 election.
Hajiya Aisha, in her closing remarks, said Alhaji Usman Ododo shall consolidate on the developmental roadmap already laid by His Excellency, Alh Yahaya Adoza Bello. She added that, the APC Governorship candidate has boosted their confidence and hope for a peaceful and prosperous future of Kogi state; saying that he would bring on board policies and programmes that would speed up development in the state generally.
She said, “Our great party, the APC, will continue to shine. There’s no vacancy for the opposition in Kogi State because we have done well, and we promise to do more as we take the state to the Promised Land. Our determination to retain power come Saturday, November 11, 2023, is a battle of no retreat, no surrender. Our theme is moving forward, and as you can see, we are already surging ahead.”
