Ex-Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Ibrahim Idris has expressed shock and dejection on the sudden death of the paramount ruler of Ebira kingdom, HRM. King Abdulrahman Ado Ibrahim

A statement issued on Sunday afternoon, the Former Kogi Governor recalled the good working relationship between him and the Ohinoyi when he presided over the state between 2003-2012.
He described the monarch as a detribalised and selfless leader who more than two decades has not only presided on the throne of his forefathers, but returned peace, progress and development to the state and Nigeria at large.
He further described Late Ado Ibrahim as a thorough unifier, a passion he cherished jealousy throughout his reign more than two decades away.
He prayed that his legacies as a father of all in Kogi state irrespective of creed, religion and section will be sustained by the Royal stool.
Alhaji Ibrahim Idris prayed that Almighty God grant him Aljanatul firdaus, and give the entire people of the state the fortitude to bear the loss and large vacuum left by the highly revered royal father.
