Amend your ways with God, cleric tasks Christians as Ekom laid to rest amidst eulogies
The Evangelical Reformed Church Of Christ (ERCC) Victory Land Church Ombi 2, Lafia, Pastor Kefas Francis of Ombi 2, Lafia, Nasarawa State, has tasked believers to amend their ways with God and humanity as death is inevitable.
The Religion Leader gave the charge during the funeral service of late Titus Ekom, a lecturer with Isa Mustapha Agwai 1 Polytechnic, Lafia and State Treasurer of Keffi Old Boys Association(KOBA).
The clergy who quotes from various versus of the Holy Bible emphasized that God is the giver and taker of life, hence the need for every believer to amend his ways with God as death can come calling at anytime.
He equally emphasized the need for people to live a righteous life, love each other with kind heart as every one will give account of his stewardship on earth when the inevitable calls and before God Almighty.
The National Secretary of KOBA, Mr Sam Israel delivered the message of KOBA President General at the funeral just as the State President of KOBA , Arch Umar Shittu led other EXCO members to the funeral service.
They eulogized the good virtues of late Titus Ekom describing him as a role model, an easy going gentle man and a friend to all who will be greatly missed.
After the Church Service, late Titus Ekom remains was laid to rest in his compound behind Special School Lafia amidst tears and eulogies from family, friends, associates and well wishers as prayers for the repose of his soul took the center stage.
Mr Titus Ekom a lecturer with Isa Mustapha Agwai 1, Polytechnic, Lafia and State Treasurer of Keffi Old Boys Association ( KOBA) died on Tuesday 24th October, 2023 as a result of brief illness and left behind to mourn him one wife and five children.
