Kogi election: President Tinubu reaffirms support for APC candidate, Ododo
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has reaffirmed his support for the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the November 11 Governorship election in Kogi State, Ahmed Usman Ododo.
The President who received the APC candidate in company of Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State and the party’s National Chairman, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje at the Presidential Villa in Abuja on Thursday, restated his commitment to work for the victory of the APC Governorship candidate in the November 11 off-cycle election in Kogi State.
While commending the party leadership for the peaceful campaign so far ahead of the elections in Bayelsa, Imo and Kogi States, President Tinubu praised Governor Yahaya Bello for his hard work and determination to ensure the APC wins the Governorship election in Kogi State.
”I want to thank the Governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Bello, who is working hard to ensure a handover to our candidate, Usman Ododo. Thank you for the good job you are doing”, the president noted.
President Tinubu also presented the party’s flag to the APC Governorship candidate, Ahmed Usman Ododo who was also accompanied by the Minister of Steel Development and Director General of the Kogi State APC Governorship Campaign Council, Prince Shuaib Abubakar Audu.
