The Federal government in their bid to protect its citizenry during the elections, posted soldiers to not only Kogi but also to Imo and Bayelsa states.
Their presence in Biradu was not an isolated incident and as is their manner, they carried out their responsibilities exceptionally.
The election on Saturday 11th November 2023 that held in Biraidu was calm and peaceful, a narrative that wasn’t the case in the past. People came out in their numbers to exercise their civil rights without oppression and violence.
The Nigerian soldiers made this possible. The few who set out to cause disruptions and carried weapons were stopped by the soldiers. At no time were innocent citizens bullied, repressed or intimidated as you claim.
On the contrary, they came out with the confidence that they were protected as the people themselves can confirm. I am sure other wards will allude to the fact, as in my polling unit, voting was concluded before noon and peacefully I might add.
Your allegation against my person and the Nigerian army being in cahoots to carry out illegalities is not only false but I suspect informed by your ignorance and persistent but futile efforts to tarnish my image.
Kindly bring forward proof as to your allegations.
There is one thing I am confident of and that is evil will never prevail over good! It is written!
It may tarry but it’s end is certain.
