Former Kogi Commissioner for works, Housing Abubakar Adama loses mother

The death has occurred of the mother of the former Commissioner for Works and Housing, Kogi State. Hon. Dr. Abubakar Adama and a community leader in Idah, in the early hours of Thursday, 7th March, 2024.

 

Hajia Hawau Titi Adama fondly called and addressed as Ojawo died in her sleep.

At the time of her demise, she was said to be 97 years of age and a Beeded chief of Attah Igala Kingdom ( Iye_Adebu).

She is survived by several children, among whom are :

(1) Engr. Dr. Abubakar Adama, Former Commissioner for Works and Housing, Kogi State
(2) Mrs Ramatu Attah, Rtd Educationist.
(3) Hajia Halima Wada, Former First Lady of Kogi State
(4) Mr Idris Adama, Rtd, NFF Director
(5) Dr.(Mrs) Aishetu Abdulkadir, University Lecture
(6) Mrs Memuna Husseini, Kaduna based businesswoman

(7) Dr. ( Mrs Hadiza Musa , University lecturer

Mama is survived by 31 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren.

She has since been buried according to Islamic rights.
