Ex- Kogi Gov, business Moguls, others grace 8th Day Fidau Prayer of late Hajia Hawau Titi Adama

Former Kogi State Governor, Captain Idris Ichalla Wada has attended the 8th day (fidau) prayer of late Hajia Hawau Titi Adama at Sabongari, Idah local government area of Kogi State.

Other prominent people who attended the firdau prayer including some former commissioners, LGC chairmen, permanent secretaries, director-generals among others who served in the administration of the former Governor Wada and present administration of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo.

The former governor in his tribute says, Mama lived a humble life, full of love, tolerance and that, she was a peace maker which made her to earn a royal title of Iye Adebu from the Attah of Igala kingdom.

Captain Wada then thanked all those in attendance for the show of love and gratitude they have demonstrated by coming to pay their last respect to Hajia Adama.

Speaker upon speaker used the occasion to admonish the children and other attendees to be fervent in prayers and dedicated to Allah at all times.

The Caretaker Chairman of Idah LGA, Hon. Amade Eguda Ochijenu who came with some of his council members appreciated Allah for mama’s life and prayed to Allah to grant her Aljanah firdaus and he enjoined the family to take solace in the life of mama.

Dr. Sylvester Onoja, a former Commissioner for Education, Kogi state, Prof. Sani Abdulkadir, former vice Chancellor, Kogi State University, Anyigba, Engr. Musa Wada, Professor Danlafi Musa, former Provost of COE Ankpa, Alh. Abdullahi Ohioma, Chief Abi Obaje and host of others were in attendance.

The chief mourner, Engr. Dr, Abubakar Adama who is the eldest surviving son of the deceased, on behalf of his siblings which include Hajia Halima Wada former first lady of Kogi State, appreciated all those who were present at the occasion for the show of love and prayed for Allah to rest her soul in peace and grant journey mercies to all attendees.

The Director General Protocol, Government House Administration, Alh. Suleiman Ibrahim, the proprietor, Ajine College of Health Engr. Sani Ndakoji and his beloved wife were also among dignitaries that graced the occasion.

Late Hajia Hawau was said to be aged 97 years. She was survived by 7 children, 31 grandchildren, and 36 great grand children.
