Police begin investigating into New York City subway train station shooting

Tension mount over the yet-to-be identified 36-year-old man, who was reportedly shot multiple time.

The victim was also critically wounded on a New York City subway train as it arrived at a busy station in downtown Brooklyn on Thursday.

According to reports in the NBC new York, the police say an investigation is underway concerning the man armed with a gun who provoked another man on a subway train in Brooklyn.

The shocking encounter was caught in a cellphone video. Police reports that a 32-year-old man boarded the train at the Nostrand Avenue Station.

As the train started moving, police say he was approached by a 36-year-old man who was already on the train. Witnesses described the 36-year-old as aggressive and provocative towards the 32-year-old man.

The two exchanged words, which turned physical and led to the 36-year-old to take out a knife or a razor blade.
