Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki, the former President of the 8th Senate and a presidential candidate in 2023, met with Ernest Bai Koroma, the former President of Sierra Leone.
On Saturday, the former governor of Kwara State revealed this in a tweet.
Saraki told Koroma about his aspirations to replace President Muhammadu Buhari on May 29, 2023, according to Saraki.
“Yesterday, it was great to catch up with my old friend, the former President of Sierra Leone, H.E. Ernest Bai Koroma.
“It was also a great opportunity to inform him of my future plans, as well as learn more about his work to foster peace and development on the continent.”
Saraki will face former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, Governors Bala Mohammed and Aminu Tambuwal of Bauchi and Sokoto, Chief Dele Momodu, Anyim Pius Anyim, and former Governor of Anambra State Peter Obi, all of whom have acquired the N40 million Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential Form.
Saraki, according to this online daily, has already begun talks with Tambuwal and Mohammed about putting up a compromise candidate.
