Police Caught Coupe with Fresh Human Parts in Ogun

The Ogun State police command has apprehended Kehinde Oladimeji, a 43-year-old, and his 35-year-old wife, Adejumoke Raji, for having fresh human parts in their possession.

The suspects, who live at 72 MKO Abiola Way in Leme, Abeokuta, were allegedly apprehended when fresh human parts such as breasts, hands and other body parts were discovered at their home

Abimbola Oyeyemi, the Ogun state’s Police Public Relations Officer, revealed this in a press release on Saturday.

According to Oyeyemi, the pair suggested to be spiritual healers who obtained the body parts from a man named Michael who lives in Abeokuta’s Adatan neighborhood.

The suspects were identified to the Kemta Divisional Headquarters by the Baale of Leme Community, Moshood Ogunwolu, according to the PPRO.

According to Oyeyemi, Ogunwolu informed the police that one Pastor Adisa Olarewaju, a co-tenant of the accused, notified him of unpleasant odors emanating from the suspects’ room.

“Upon receiving the news, CSP Adeniyi Adekunle, DPO Kemta Division, swiftly led his detectives to the location where a search was done,” he stated.

A metal dish containing fresh human body parts was found in the room during a search, and the family was detained immediately.

During questioning, the suspects admitted that they were spiritual healers and that the human parts, which included hands, breasts, and other body parts, were donated to them by one Michael, who they said lived in Abeokuta’s Adatan neighborhood.

“All efforts to find the mentioned Michael were futile since the suspects were unable to identify his residence.”

It will be noted that a mutilated body of an unknown individual was discovered in a swamp region in Abeokuta’s Leme district approximately a week ago; it is unclear whether the pieces are those of the discovered body or not.”

However, Oyeyemi stated that the State Commissioner of Police, Lanre Bankole, has directed the suspects to be immediately transferred to the state Criminal Investigation and Intelligence District’s Homicide Section for a quiet investigation.

“Anyone who is directly or indirectly involved in the criminal will be brought to justice to serve as a deterrence to others,” he stressed.
